Ecommerce & Shopify marketing that sells products
An online store has more moving parts than a local business: product pages, a product feed, shopping ads, catalog ads and the emails that bring back people who almost bought. I start with a free audit of your store, then quote a plan that fits your size.
Five parts that work together
Most stores are strong at one or two of these and leaking at the rest. The audit shows which ones matter most for yours.
- Store SEOProduct and collection pages with unique descriptions, clear titles, clean URLs and product structured data, so Google understands price, availability and reviews.
- Google Merchant Center & ShoppingA healthy product feed with no disapprovals, free listings switched on, and Shopping or Performance Max campaigns where the margins support them.
- Meta catalog adsYour product catalog connected to Facebook and Instagram, so ads can show the products people viewed or similar ones.
- Email & SMS flowsWelcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment and post-purchase messages that run automatically, sent only to people who opted in.
- Speed & conversion fixesHeavy apps, slow images, confusing variants, surprise shipping costs at checkout. Small fixes here multiply every other channel.
Free listings first, then paid
Eligible stores can show products on Google for free. Many small stores never switch this on, or have products quietly disapproved.

What a typical plan can include
- Store SEO audit and fixes for product and collection pages
- Merchant Center setup, feed clean-up and free listings
- Google Shopping or Performance Max management
- Meta catalog and retargeting ads
- Email and SMS flows: welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase
- Speed and checkout conversion fixes
- Monthly report on revenue, cost and return by channel
Why ecommerce starts with an audit
A 30-product candle shop and a 3,000-product parts store need very different work. A fixed package would overcharge one and underserve the other.
| Store situation | Usually the first priority |
|---|---|
| New store, little traffic | Free listings, store SEO basics and a welcome email flow |
| Traffic but few sales | Speed, product pages and checkout friction before more ads |
| Sales from Meta, nothing from Google | Merchant Center feed and Shopping campaigns |
| Good sales, few repeat customers | Post-purchase and win-back email and SMS flows |
| Large catalog | Collection structure, duplicate content and feed quality |

A good fit if...
A good fit
- You run a Shopify store, or are moving to one
- You have products with healthy enough margins to advertise
- You want one person handling SEO, ads and email together
Probably not yet
- You need a full custom store build from scratch
- Your products aren't ready to ship or inventory is unreliable
- You expect ads to fix a store that doesn't convert yet
Ecommerce marketing questions
Do you work with Shopify stores?
Yes, Shopify is my main ecommerce platform: store SEO, the Google & YouTube app and Merchant Center, Meta catalog ads, and email and SMS flows.
Can my products show on Google for free?
Eligible stores can show products in free listings on Google surfaces like the Shopping tab. Your products need an approved feed in Google Merchant Center, which Shopify's Google & YouTube app can connect.
How much does ecommerce marketing cost?
It depends on catalog size and which channels you need, so I quote after a free audit. You get a fixed monthly price in writing before anything starts. Ad budgets are paid directly to Google or Meta.
What is in the free store audit?
A 5โ10 minute screen-recorded video reviewing your store, product feed, ads and emails, showing the specific things likely costing you sales and what I would fix first. It's free, and you keep it whether or not you hire me.
Should I fix SEO or run ads first?
If your store converts well, ads bring faster sales while SEO builds. If it doesn't convert yet, fix speed, product pages and checkout first, because every ad dollar lands there.
