Social media management for busy owners
You know you should post more. You also have a business to run. I plan, design and schedule your Facebook and Instagram posts every month, so your pages look active and trustworthy when customers check them.
What organic social does and doesn't do
I'd rather set the right expectations than sell you a dream.
What it does well
- Shows you're open, active and real when people check you out
- Gives your work, team and space a place to be seen
- Keeps regulars reminded of you between visits
- Builds a library of content you can later turn into ads
What it usually doesn't do
- Bring a flood of new customers on its own; organic reach to new people is limited
- Replace a website or Google Business Profile
- Work without your photos and short clips; stock images rarely connect
If you need new customers fast, pair this with Facebook & Instagram ads. Organic builds trust, ads build reach.
From plan to posted
Plan
At the start of each month I send a simple plan: themes, offers, dates and post ideas. You approve or tweak it on WhatsApp.
Collect
You send photos and short clips from your phone. I send a shot list so it takes minutes, not hours.
Create
I design 12 posts in your brand colors, write captions, and add hashtags only where they genuinely help.
Schedule & report
Posts go out at sensible times across Facebook and Instagram. At month end you get a short report on what people engaged with.
What's included
One price, clear limits, so you always know what you're getting.
Included
- Monthly content plan built around your offers and season
- 12 designed posts per month, shared across Facebook and Instagram
- Captions written in your voice
- Scheduling at times your audience is likely online
- Profile clean-up: bio, links, highlights, contact buttons
- Monthly report in plain English
Not included (unless agreed)
- Replying to comments and DMs: you keep your inbox, or ask me for a quote
- Reels: add edited reels at $39 each
- Paid ads: separate, $250/month plus ad budget
What a good month looks like
A typical 12-post month for a local business. The mix changes with your goals and season.
| Post type | Per month | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Your work | 4 | A finished fade, a detailed car, a plated dish, a before/after |
| Behind the scenes and team | 2 | Meet the stylist, morning prep, a new tool or product |
| Helpful tips | 2 | "How to keep your nails from chipping", "3 signs your AC needs a service" |
| Offer or booking reminder | 2 | Slow-day deal, limited spots, seasonal service |
| Social proof | 1 | A real customer review, shared with permission |
| Community or fun | 1 | Local event, holiday hours, a "guess what this is" post |
Ideas for bigger moments are in marketing campaign examples.
Me vs doing it yourself vs a big agency
All three can work. The right one depends on your time, budget and how much control you want.
The first two weeks
- Access and profile checkYou add me as a partner or page role in Meta Business Suite, so you keep ownership. I review your bio, links, contact buttons and highlights and fix what's missing.
- Brand basicsYour colors, logo and tone. If you don't have a logo you're happy with, a refresh is $79, or see branding.
- First plan and shot listThe first month's plan and a list of photos and short clips to capture. Posting starts as soon as the plan is approved.
Social media questions
How much does social media management cost?
My package is $199 per month for 12 designed posts across Facebook and Instagram, plus a monthly plan and report. Freelancers and agencies charge anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month depending on volume and platforms.
Do you reply to comments and messages?
Not by default. Most owners prefer to answer customers themselves because they know the details. If you want me to handle replies on business days, ask for a quote.
Do I need to send you photos?
Yes, ideally. Real photos and clips of your work, team and space perform far better than stock images. I send a short shot list so it only takes a few minutes a week.
Can you manage TikTok or LinkedIn too?
The package covers Facebook and Instagram. Reels I edit can also be posted to TikTok and YouTube Shorts. For other platforms, ask and I'll quote honestly if it makes sense for your business.
Will social media bring me new customers?
It helps people trust you and remember you, but organic reach to new people is limited. If new customers this month is the goal, combine it with local Facebook and Instagram ads.
